Popular Dental Treatments in Budapest

Dental Implants

Dental implant is an invisible substructure which gives the long-lasting stability of your tooth replacement. Placed directly into the jawbone, titanium dental implant offers a permanent fixed-tooth replacement upon which – the visible part – crowns, bridges or implant-retained dentures may be fitted.

Dental Crown

Dental crown is the top part of a tooth replacement. It can be fixed to the teeth by either cohesive material or with a screw on the dental implant. In other words, dental crown is the visible part of your tooth replacement. The crown’s colour is always the same as the colour of your original teeth, so it looks natural.

Veneers

Veneers are the art of dentistry. Pure ceramic veneer is a slight cover, a kind of small “sticker” which is used to recover injured, broken or discolored teeth or helps to give a nice look in case of congested teeth. Veneers allow you to correct multiple issues in just a single treatment. The transparency and customised shape ensures that it is unlikely to be noticed amongst your own natural teeth.

Dental Bridge

A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap - these two or more anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth - and a false tooth/teeth in between. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.

Sinus Lift (excl. bone graft)

Dental implants are placed to your jaw bone. In case there is not sufficient quantity of bone to fix the implants properly, sinus lift is carried out. Thanks to cutting edge dental care technologies this can be done by a simple dental surgery through which artificial bone is placed into the jaw.

Bone Graft

A bone graft is a dental surgery technique which is similar to sinus lift or bone augmentation but it is not the same. This treatment is necessary in case of lack of bone in your jaw which cannot be extended with artificial bone. Instead of it a piece of bone is taken from your mandible and they graft it into your mouth.

Implant-retained Solutions

Implant-retained dentures are fixed securely to dental implants for stability and support instead of having a denture. It is popular because this treatment is less expensive than dental implants only. You will only need a few dental implants into the jawbone (4-6), on this the denture is fitted safely.

Temporary Denture

Denture is the best known removable tooth replacement for people who lost all of their teeth. A denture can give back the ability of chewing, appropriate speaking and smiling.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Smile Makeover

Smile makeover is an umbrella term used for dental treatments improving the appearance of the smile. It may consist of cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as dental veneers, composite bonding, tooth implants and teeth whitening.

Hygienic Treatment

With the passing of time staining and plaque may cover the surface of the teeth, which cannot be removed by a simply toothbrush. Hygienic treatment is a quick procedure to remove tartar by polishing and cleaning the surface and intervals of the teeth.

Teeth Whitening

There are many reasons why your teeth can be discoloured (tea, coffee, red wine, smoking or simply age). Whitening is a simple and quick procedure to get back the original shine of your teeth.

Other Treatments

Root Canal Treatment/canal (All incl.)

Root canal treatment (also called ‘endodontics') is needed when the blood or nerve supply of the tooth (called the ‘pulp') is infected through decay or injury. You may not feel any pain in the early stages of the infection. In some cases your tooth could darken in colour, which may mean that the nerve of the tooth has died (or is dying). This would need root canal treatment.

Gnathology

It is a modern method which helps to solve problems with the joints of your jaw. Sometimes it might be necessary to restore your joint problems first to make an appropriate tooth replacement.

Tooth Extraction

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom teeth, also called third molars, are often extracted either before or after they come in. They commonly come in during the late teens or early 20s

Tooth Filling and Ceramic Inlays

A tooth filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape.

X-Ray

X-radiation (composed of X-rays) is a form of electromagnetic radiation.
